Not this boat Parade.....This One!

Boat Parade everyone welcome to come and dance on the water during the boat Parade at Cedar Creek Lake...Lorraine & Gary (Friends of Luisa) have invited the Kickers to participate in the annual Cedar Creek Boat Parade.  As many as will not sink can dance on a pontoon all decorated patriotically.  A street parade will take place at 2 PM around the lake if interested in "Loving the Parade!"  The boat parade commences at 4 PM.   Potluck at 5 PM meat will be provided, bring a side dish and drink of choice (alcohol is allowed), your swimsuit and lawn chair, swimming all day before, after & during.  Children need to be supervised by parents.  Can stay and watch fireworks on the lake, 4 to 5 Miles east of Louisville, NE.   Sign up by June 28th to Luisa claus @ lclaus@cox.net 1006 Platteview Drive, Cedar Creek, NE  68016  Call Luisa for details... 630-7079  we can carpool from the Hardees at Sapp Brothers at 2 PM.

Directions: Hwy 50 toward Louisville, turn left after Platte River at the Ash Grove Cement Plant.
Follow this road (Walnut Street) as it curves left onto Hwy 66 (Koop Ave). Go 3.6 miles to 13H Spur (114 St). Turn left where sign says “Cedar Creek 3 miles”. Go 2.4 miles and turn left following 13H Spur (onto Cedar Creek Rd.) Stay on this road past the RR tracks (approx. 0.3 miles). Bear to the right onto Platteview Drive. Our house is on the left after the Playground. Park on the right across the street from our house.

Sign up for Larry the Cable Guy Tickets $6/person July 4th Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.  Larry the Cable Guy visited the Huskers inside Memorial Stadium on Thursday afternoon.We have a large number of tickets on the west section close to the field close to the 50 yard line.  Let me know if you are interested in attending and I can try to get seats close to the group.  There is expected to be 60,000 people for this game and it's to be recorded on Comedy Central and re-broadcast.  So either dress in Red or Camoflauge....er wait, they won't see you for sure then....better dress Red, or White or Blue or any combination...Dress how you want.."this is AMERICA"

Elkhorn Expedition Saturday July 11th Meet at HyVee 8:30 AM travel to West Arlington to L.J.'s OutPost board the bus @ 9:30 and transport to Highway Bridge near Nickerson to "Drop In"@ 10.  average time travel 3 Hours depending if you paddle or not, the river level is "GOOD" it's a good workout and pretty scenery, can be fast & furious or slow and relaxing or any combination.  Must be 13 years or older, lifejackets, no alcohol, be courteous and alert and stay within vision of canoes ahead and behind you.

Bring everything you will need on the river; on the bus.  Leave items for the post canoe Picnic in Arlington, there will be picnic tables and a PORT POTTY along with natural facilities along the way down stream...(Pardon the Expression) The Kickers will supply, location, Outfitter, Canoe/Lifejackets, bus transportation, the main meal.  Please supply your own drinks, side dishes to share, bring a blanket or lawn chairs or anything for fun on and off the river.  This is for E V E R Y O N E.

Werner Trucking Country Night at Rosenblatt with the O-Royals Friday July 17th.  The Kickers will toss out the First Dances starting at 6:15 PM at the main entrance to the Stadium.  We will meet the fans as they enter, offer them flyers and greet them in an unobtrusive manner as they take themselves out to the old ball game.  Prior to the start of the game the Kickers will have 4 minutes to do a combination of dances on the infield near home plate between 6:45 and 7 PM.  Then relax with family and friends and enjoy this $9/person outing for some top notch Triple-A baseball as the O-Royals take on Memphis.  Following the Win, the Fireworks will be released inside the stadium in your seat you can enjoy the wonder of this display with musical accompaniment.  Speaking of Music the main event for the same ticket cost:  Tracy Lawrence Concert in the Parking lot standing or Lawn Chairs required.  We usually find some room to dance, it's pretty dark so keep track of your group and guess what??? this Event is open to E V E R Y O N E:  Please pay and reserve your tickets in advance.  $9  CountryRobT@aol.com  402.895.6146 Voice Mail
